CRAY Wanderers are eagerly awaiting their pre-season friendly match against Football League opponents Leyton Orient of League One on Wednesday.
Kick-off is 7.45pm at Hayes Lane and the Wands are expecting a bumper crowd for a prestige fixture that is part of the club's special celebrations of the 150th anniversary season 2010-11.
The fixture was arranged in May after the Os signed Cray's young academy forward George Porter on a two-year professional contract.
Cray have already started their 150th anniversary season on a successful note, attracting a crowd of nearly 500 to St Mary Cray recreation ground last Saturday to see them play Crockenhill.
Club chairman Gary Hillman was delighted to see such a large turn-out of local support for the Wands, who were staging a match in the Crays for the first time since 1973 when they had to vacate the Grassmeade ground in Chelsfield Lane.
Goals by Danny Phillips (36 and 53 minutes) and one from Shane Graham (65 minutes) secured Cray a 3-0 win against the Crocks.
