KINGSDALE FC recently raised £2,200 for Demelza House and Bowel Cancer UK in a recent charity game at The Valley.
The Bexley side played London City FC in the inter-club Charity Shield at the home of Charlton Athletic on May 22.
More than 200 people attended the game and although Kingsdale lost a competitive and fiery match 3-1, football came second on the day to the good causes.
