ORPINGTON FC claimed more silverware when the U13 girls won the Bob Staggs Memorial Shield.
They beat Peckham Town 2-0 in the final to add to the club’s trophy haul after the U15s completed a league and cup double.
Manager Juliette Joseph was overjoyed at winning the Bob Stagg Shield.
She said: “It has been a long season and the girls deserve this success as a reward for all their efforts.” Club chairman Jeff Cockburn, said: “We’ve not been running girls’ teams for very long but they have helped put the club on the footballing map with three trophies in one season. “This will help us expand our girls’ football set up even further and I congratulate everyone involved with girls’ football at Orpington FC.”
