Fleet Town 3 v 3 Cray

Ryman Division One

CRAY Wanderers boss Ian Jenkins has conceded his team will not be in the play-offs.

Despite another all-action Wands performance, Jenkins was left ruing a frustrating season.

He said: "I said to the team we needed a win at Fleet.

"It was important to get something out of the game but looking at the table and the way other results went it is going to be hard and I cannot see it happening."

He added: "It has been a frustrating season for us. It is disappointing not to have built on last year.

"I was expecting to get into the play-offs but we've let in too many soft goals and missed too many chances which has been the story of our season."

Fleet Town took the lead on eight minutes through Steve Noakes' header.

Cray were level 10 minutes later when Jamie Wood unleashed a 30-yard cracker.

The hosts took a two-goal lead thanks to Nathan Smart's double strike.

On 87 minutes Leigh Bremner was tugged down in the box and Wood scored from the penalty spot.

Then in the fifth minute of injury time James Taylor netted with a brave diving header to complete a remarkable comeback.
