Larkfield & New Hythe Wanderers 0 v 2 Orpington
West Kent Challenge Shield
ORPINGTON battled through to the semi-finals of the West Kent Challenge Shield with a 2-0 victory over league rivals Larkfield and New Hythe.
The visitors were made to fight for their win over the team they beat by the same score-line the previous week in the league.
Substitute Michael Bishop gave the Os the lead and an unlikely second from the kick of goalkeeper Nicky Blue, from his own penalty area, saw Orpington into the semi-final where they will meet Bromleians Sports.
On Saturday Orpington are away to Stansfeld in the Inter-Regional Challenge Cup, kick-off 2.15pm.
