Beckenham 2 v 3 M'stone
Kentish Observer Kent League
NEARLY 500 fans watched this top-of-the-table clash end in dramatic fashion.
From the outset Beckenham were content to soak up early pressure and wait for the chance to break.
Paul Vines provided the telling through ball in the 39th minute to Ryan Martin who was too fast for the visiting keeper as he slotted home.
Maidstone equalised on 78 minutes when a poorly cleared free kick was driven into the goal from 30 yards.
Two minutes later Martin restored Becks' lead and it looked like being enough for Town as the game went into added time.
But all thoughts of a victory were dashed with Maidstone goals in the 93rd and 95th minute.
Beckenham Town visited Thamesmead Town last night in the Kent League Divisional Cup and visit Tunbridge Wells on league duty on Saturday.
