"WELL, after another good win on Saturday, we find ourselves in ninth place in the table.
We're sitting just four points off the play off spots, which are still an achievable target for us this season.
The game against Morecambe was a tough one but the application of the boys was second to none.
The back four coped well with the threat of Michael Twiss and the whole team put in a performance to be proud of.
With Charlie Mac grabbing another goal it takes him to joint top scorer in the Conference with 10 goals which is a feat not only great for him in his effort to reach 20 goals this season but also for the club.
The support of the fans on Saturday was second to none.
With the amount of support the fans gave us it was as if we had a 12th man on the field with us, so thank you to the fans and keep it up.
Looking at the Conference table after Saturday's games, Accrington Stanley lead by two points after beating Altrincham but Grays have a game in hand over them.
Exeter who sit third, were on the receiving end of an unexpected home defeat to our rivals, Canvey Island. It was also interesting to see that Crawley gained their first point under new manager John Hollins, away from home at other play off hopefuls Halifax.
The other playoff spot, which is still a realistic opportunity for us, is filled by Morecambe. At the bottom it's just as tight. Forest Green sit in 22nd spot, on 14 points from 18 games, and Southport sit just one place and one point above them.
Looking forward to next Saturday's game, away at Burton Albion, who are sitting 14th in the league and moved in to their new Pirelli Stadium at the start of the season. They are, at the point of my writing this, still in the FA Cup, and if they beat Burscough in their second round tie, will play Manchester United at home in the third round.
Every game in this league this season is a tough test but after three wins on the bounce, we'll be looking to keep this little run going and extend our unbeaten run to four games.
The following week, the 17th December, we enter the FA Trophy, and will face either East Thurrock or Tonbridge Angels away from home.
Whoever you support in the football league, come down to Stonebridge Road for a taste of Conference Football. I've no doubt you'll enjoy it."
