BROMLEY moved up to ninth in the Ryman Premier Division thanks to a league debutant.
Awuah Jones, a recent signing from Southern Division One East outfit Aveley, scored the winner in the seventh minute when visiting keeper Dale Brightly could only palm a corner into the path of the new hitman.
It is the first clean sheet Bromley have secured in six attempts and sees the team get back to winning ways.
George Wakeling's men face a tough trip to Dover Athletic on Saturday in the fourth round of the Westview Cup.
