THE top two teams in the Everden Cup met at the Westminster Fields where Horton Kirby hosted Ash Green.
Horton Kirby’s opener goal came when Neil Doogias headed in at the back post from a free-kick, but Ash Green drew level when a shot by Harpreet was deflected wide of the keeper to make it 1-1.
Joydens Wood move up into third place in the table after a narrow 2-1 win at home to Meopham Reserves side in the same group.
Lee Crowley put Joydens1-0 up in the first half and they doubled their score in the second half with a Brett Blake-Morris effort.
Meopham kept going and pulled one back in the 89th minute through Ben Cable, but they still remain at the foot of the table.
Group B has Real Man of Kent at the top on nine points from three games played.
They were away to the AZ 82 at Hall Place, Kent going 1-0 in front with a Lee Brown goal after 10 minutes.
On the half hour, AZ were level when a great team effort saw Billy French score, but Kent were just that bit stronger in the second half and scored two more goals for the 3-1 victory thanks to Will Mullarkey and Nathan Deighton.
Fleetway Printers were away to YMCA Dartford at Stone Rec and Printers found themselves 2-0 up in the first half with Simon Collins getting both goals.
He should have completed his hat-trick but his fine strike struck the YMCA bar.
The Dartford team got back in the game in the 89th minute with a late goal from Chris Henry for a final score of 2-1 to Fleetway Printers.
In the Premier Division, Viewpoint regained their top place in the table with an 8-0 home win over Stone C & I with Damien Blowers (4), Luke Fincham (2), Aaron Brown and Dave Goodwin sharing the scoring honours.
Lullingstone Castle entertained last season’s champions Craggs Farm at Swanley Rec in a very close game where both had chances to get on the score sheet.
The match eventually finished 1-1, Ryan Orpwood scoring for the Lullies and Rob Ingram grabbing the equaliser.
Woodlands Athletic finally got some points when they were at home to Meopham at Swanscombe.
Dyson Cuff and a 20 yard shot from Steven Pearse, who came back into the team after a long lay-off through injury, put them 2-0 up at the break.
Meopham scored with a Wes Orr goal after the interval, but Woodlands wrapped up the game when Matt Ingle struck with a fine volley to secure a 3-1 win.
NK Aces were at home to Millers Cottage but it took until the 70th minute for the deadlock to be broken when Millers took the lead through Dave Daly.
Aces forged forward to get back in the game and they got back on terms scored but with just four minutes remaining, Millers grabbed all three points with a goal from substitute Simon West.
In Division One, Earl Grey hold top spot after a dramatic 4-3 win over The Rising Eagles.
Earl Grey held a convincing 3-0 advantage at the midway point, but Eagles staged a terrific comeback in the second half to level at 3-3 with goals by Ricky Darlington (2) and Ross Penrose.
However, Earl Grey team just got home 4-3 with a late goal.
Viewpoint Reserves were at home to NK Aces Reserves and started the game with just 10-men.
But Tommy Vine’s brace put them 2-0 up before Steve Coyne pulled one back for Aces in the second half.
Viewpoint were playing some fine football and they went 3-1 in front with a third goal from Vine.
Back came Aces again with a second goal from Lewis Taylor, but then Owen Turner made it 4-2 to lift Viewpoint up into second spot in the table. Anthony Morris (2), Christian Golden (2), Matt Wanless and Dave Acland helped Bean inflict a 6-1 home defeat on Culverstone, for whom Michael Leeson struck a consolation.
The only game in Division Two saw Kent Celts win 4-2 at Oakfield thanks to goals from Aaron Ludlow, Ben Clasper and Tim Edwins (2).
Oakfield had come back from 2-0 down to draw level in the second half through Sam Ryan’s brace, but it wasn’t enough to prevent Kent Celts going top of the table.
