BASEMENT side Lewisham Islamic Centre U16s enjoyed a welcome victory over Northumberland Heath, writes Zaki Thompson.
Northumberland took the lead after 25 minutes following miscommunication in the LIC defence.
But they were back on terms 10 minutes later when Amadu Mansaray took a shot from outside of the area while the keeper was off his line.
It looked to have been saved by the keeper, but the linesman gave the goal as it crossed the line.
Northumberland took the lead again before the break but Anton Campbell restored parity again on 55 minutes.
Campbell then fired LIC in front for the first time 10 minutes later before Kieron Wilson added a decisive fourth.
Northumberland could have scored plenty of goals but Lewisham keeper Ali Parvizi put on his best performance to date to help give LIC their first win of the season.
