JACOB Erskine has joined Gillingham from Bromley on a free transfer.
The former Dagenham & Redbridge striker only joined the Lillywhites in the summer, but today made a quick return to the Football League by linking up with the Gills.
A statement from the Blue Square South side said: “Both Bromley and Gillingham have worked together closely and have reached an agreement that strengthens the relationship between the two clubs.
“The agreement includes a sell on clause, along with certain other terms which we feel will benefit the club in the long run.”
Meanwhile, Lillywhites boss Mark Goldberg has moved quickly to replace Erskine by signing Marcus Cassius on a one-year contract.
Cassius enjoyed a prolific scoring spell in the Kent League last season with more than 40 goals for Erith Town.
The forward opened his account for Bromley last Tuesday against Gillingham and has done enough to impress Goldberg since his arrival on trial.
