Cray Wanderers 0-4 Fleet Town, Cray lost at home for the first time since October 2007, with in-form Fleet Town taking full advantage of the Wands' depleted line-up.
With key players missing in all areas of the team, because of injury, suspension or work commitments, Cray looked vulnerable from the start as Andy Sinton's well-drilled side showed why they have won four and drawn two of their last six games.
Tommy Whitnell's header hit the bar and Tyrone Sterling was a constant threat to the visitors on the left, but Cray conceded the opening goal of a tight first half in the 43rd minute.
Cray chased the game in a second half that brought chances at both ends, until a Cray collapse in the last ten minutes saw the visitors rattle in three goals to produce a final scoreline that looked harsh on the Wands.
Cray return to action on Tuesday night at home to Ramsgate in the Kent Senior Cup 1st round (7.45pm).
