CHILDREN in north Kent are being given the opportunity to sign up for a place at Grass Roots Soccer Schools after Arsenal FC launched a new website.
The website playthearsenalway.com contains everything you need to know about Arsenal Soccer Schools in Kent including booking information, latest news from the schools, interactive games and training tips to show youngsters how to play the Arsenal way.
Grass Roots Soccer Schools have been running for more than 12 years, giving boys and girls between five and 14 a chance to get active, make new friends, have fun and improve soccer skills.
Manager Tim Rickson said: "The new website makes it easier for parents to book courses and is also a great interactive site for young children who can take a look at recent news and check out some skills which are taught on the soccer schools.
"Arsenal Soccer Schools are a great way for local children to keep fit and have fun."
Alex Sefton, head of Arsenal in the Community, added: "We're delighted we've launched a website befitting the 20 years hands-on experience the club has in teaching and delivering Arsenal Soccer Schools.
"We hope the new site will encourage more children to play the Arsenal way, but most importantly, get active and have fun learning new skills."
Children participating in holiday Arsenal Soccer Schools receive a certificate, free gift from Arsenal and a mystery prize from Grass Roots Soccer Schools at the end of each course.
