ERITH Town will begin the Kent League campaign at their new Bayliss Avenue home against Greenwich Borough on August 11.
The Dockers left Erith Sports Stadium after 14 years last week because of problems with the state of the pitch, which was also used regularly for athletics field events.
Chairman Albert Putnam said: "We had a look at the pitch before the Welling friendly and it was simply unplayable.
"This has been an ongoing problem there for three years now and we've decided to move in with Thamesmead.
"Hopefully we will be staying there permanently."
Elsewhere in the opening fixtures, the Dockers' rivals Erith & Belvedere will host Slade Green at Park View Road on August 9.
Beckenham travel to Deal Town on the same day, while VCD Athletic are also on the road at Tunbridge Wells.
Holmesdale are the last of our Kent League sides to start the season when they entertain Beckenham on August 12.
