Dartford boss Tony Burman says he won’t risk playing Andy Pugh at Ebbsfleet on Monday unless the forward has fully recovered from injury.
The Darts were once again without Pugh on Good Friday as they sealed a 3-1 win against Bishop’s Stortford.
Burman was unsure whether the striker would make the derby at Stonebridge Road against National League South leaders Ebbsfleet.
“We'll see. I am not going to take too many chances,” the manager said.
“It is not as bad as we had thought but I don't want to lose him for longer. We will go with what we have got.”
Dartford had lost five of their last six games and dropped to 9th in the table before Saturday's home win.
Burman believes the victory means his side can make the short journey to Northfleet with confidence.
He added: “The win against Bishop’s Stortford takes a bit of pressure off of us and we can go there now and some of the guys can enjoy a local derby.
“We are looking forward to it.”
