Charlton Athletic returned home from the ESF Festival of Football tournament in Skegness as U13, U15 and U16 girls’ champions.
The trio of teams put on impressive performances across the board, with only one loss suffered by between the girls, who were presented with their trophies by former Liverpool legend Ian Rush.
He said: “To be crowned ESF Champions is a fantastic achievement.
“All three teams should be really proud of themselves.
“Well done to everyone involved with Charlton Athletic women.”
By winning the tournament in their respective age groups, all three Charlton Athletic sides automatically qualify for the ESF Finale, which takes place later this year at the University of Warwick Football Centre.
With more than 1,100 boys and girls teams participating every year, the ESF Festival of Football is the biggest youth contest in the UK.
Charlton Athletic women’s U16s’ Kim Dixson added: “For the teams to meet Ian Rush topped off a fantastic weekend.
