Bromley and Dartford have been paired together in this evening’s FA Cup first round draw.
Conference South Bromley’s reward for battling it through to this stage of the competition is home advantage against their Conference Premier neighbours.
Both sides might have dreamed of a trip to Sheffield United or Portsmouth, but instead were drawn against each other in a local derby.
On the bright side, it means at least one of News Shopper’s non-league teams is now guaranteed a spot in the second round of the famous competition.
Bromley v Dartford in the first round of the FA Cup takes place at Hayes Lane on November 8.
