GOALS from Marvin Alebiosu, Mo Conteh and Richard Morgan saw Erith & Belvedere win the first match on the opening day of their first ever game in the Isthmian North.
But they made the worst possible start after falling behind to Daniel Clarke’s third minute opener at Park View Road.
The Deres’ new joint manager Martin Ford said: “It was a good performance all round.
“The players worked very hard and deserved their win, although we know we can perform a lot better but it was nice to get off to a winning start.”
Erith & Belvedere travel to Brentwood Town tomorrow evening, kick-off 7.45pm.
