BEXLEY United’s U21 senior side entered into the Selkent Shield final on Sunday knowing it was their last game in the SELKENT youth league before moving on up to adult football next season.
This was the club’s second season in the league since being formed and they added some silverware thanks to a 2-1 success over Welling Wanderers.
Bexley United has FA-certified coaches who are readying themselves for the natural progression from youth football to the senior game.
The club were granted charter standard status at the start of the season and also has adult status in place.
