EBBSFLEET fans are being urged to dig deep into their pockets to raise £20,000 to keep the club afloat.
The Stonebridge Road club’s present owners MyFootballClub (MyFC) are currently handing over their 75 percent shareholding to the Fleet Trust and Philip Sonsara after a vote held at an open meeting last week.
But £20,000 is required by Monday to keep Ebbsfleet United alive, with a reported further £50,000 needed over a slightly longer period until new investment has been achieved.
Jessica McQueen said: “After the open meeting recently held at the football club when the critical financial situation was discussed, the club are appealing to all supporters and anyone who wishes to help the club to make an immediate donation to ensure football continues at Stonebridge Road.
“Donations can be made over the telephone, by cheque in the post or calling at the club office.
“The club is open daily between 9.30am and 5pm Monday to Friday and between 10am and noon this coming Sunday.”
To make a donation, call Ebbsfleet United on 01474 533796.
