Birmingham 2 v 1 Crystal Palace
Coca-Cola Championship
CRYSTAL Palace's 100 per cent league record ended at St Andrews as Birmingham came from behind to earn victory with a last-gasp strike The Eagles, who arrived in the Midlands on the back of three successive wins, netted first thanks to a deflected Jobi McAnuff effort in the 11th minute.
However, Nicklas Bendtner equalised for the hosts before half-time.
On-loan Arsenal midfielder Sebastian Larsson then slotted home from David Dunn's left-wing cross deep into second-half stoppage time.
Peter Taylor said: "A draw would have been a fair result but it was great play by David Dunn for their winner.
"A lot of other people would simply have tried to cross it but David went for the by-line and then picked someone out.
"After the game I told the players I was pleased with them because if we keep playing like this away from home, we'll be picking up points."
He added: "I'm still working on bringing in some players but not on a short-term basis.
"I think having someone on a short-term loan puts you under pressure to pick them so season-long loans are better though, to be honest, I prefer permanent signings."
