THEO Robinson has sealed a shock loan move to Derby County until the end of the season, with a view to a permanent transfer in the summer.
The striker only joined the Lions from Huddersfield last month having previously impressed in a loan spell at The Den which was cut short by injury.
However, he was only named as a substitute for Saturday’s 3-2 defeat against Middlesbrough and didn’t even come off the bench.
Robinson’s sudden departure is sure to shock Lions fans so soon after his arrival.
But with Josh McQuoid poised to return from injury and both Neil Harris and Kevin Lisbie back among the goals, Kenny Jackett has decided not to stand in Robinson’s way after Derby made their interest clear.
Millwall manager Jackett confirmed: “Theo hasn't really settled in south London and this move gives him the opportunity to be nearer to his Birmingham home.”
