BRADLEY Wright-Phillips became only the sixth player in Charlton’s history to score in his first three games for the club when he netted in Saturday’s dramatic victory against Peterborough United.

The other five players are Ralph Allen, Allan Simonsen, Darren Bent, John Evans and Jimmy Gibson.

ALL tickets for Charlton’s home match against Exeter City on Saturday (3pm) are priced £5 after the Addicks board announced a special promotion to help increase attendances and boost the stadium atmosphere in SE7.

The club is encouraging season-ticket holders to persuade family and friends to come to watch the match against the Grecians.

ALAN McCormack and Federico Bessone both recovered from hamstring injuries in time to play against Peterborough United on Saturday.

However, on-loan left-back Bessone looks likely to miss tonight’s match against Hartlepool United after being forced off during the second half.

Joe Anyinsah and Paul Benson (hamstring) also missed the Peterborough game through injury and were doubtful for the trip to Victoria Park.

MANAGER Chris Powell and two members of the first-team squad will be signing merchandise and meeting supporters when they appear in the Valley Superstore on February 24.

The two players will be in store from 2pm, and will be joined by Powell at around 3pm as the Addicks offer a 20 per cent reduction on all items made by kit manufacturer Macron, including replica shirts and trainingwear, throughout February half-term week.

DEFENDER Matt Fry will stay with Charlton until March 19 following the extension of his loan from West Ham United last week.

The 20-year-old made his 28th appearance for the club on Saturday.

A NEW big screen was installed at The Valley last week and was used for the first time against Peterborough United on Saturday.

The giant LED screen, which measures 30 square metres, has been hired until the end of the season, when a permanent 40 square-metre screen will be installed.

The new screen was brought in at the urging of the club’s new owners, with help from new big screen sponsors Regular Cleaning Services, Cannon Glass and Glazing and Titan Elevators.
