MILLWALL'S appeal against Tony Craig's dismissal has been upheld and the left-back is now eligible to play against Chesterfield on Saturday.
Tony, 21, was shown a straight red card by referee Lee Probert after just four minutes of Tuesday night's match at Leyton Orient.
Having watched video evidence of his challenge on Shane Tudor the FA panel concluded the sending off was unwarranted.
Millwall chief executive Ken Brown said: "There is a real determination to improve our disciplinary record as we made clear to the FA when we met with them in the close season.
"However, the fact that under the FA's regulations this red card, which has been rescinded, remains on the club's - and the player's - record, is a real concern for us."
He added: "We are pleased justice has been done in terms of Tony's suspension being quashed but we are frustrated the original decision had a significant effect on the outcome of Tuesday's game and the referee's decision could count against the club in terms of future financial penalties."
