THERRY Racon declared he has no intentions of leaving The Valley after firing the Addicks into the second round of the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy.
The Guadeloupe midfielder, 26, has been linked with a move away from SE7 in almost every transfer window since his arrival in 2007 from Guingamp.
And as this summer’s window drew to a close on Tuesday, reports emerged suggesting Racon was heading for the Greek Super Liga, whose midnight deadline was six hours later than the English equivalent.
However, the popular playmaker’s only moves were to be found on the pitch as he helped Charlton defeat Dagenham 1-0 with the only goal of the game before confirming he was going nowhere.
He said: "Every transfer window there is speculation.
“This is my fourth season at the club and I'm happy here.
"I miss the old players but we have to move on and welcome the new players, make sure they feel comfortable and get the best out of them.
“We're all happy now. Tuesday was a tough game but we're happy to be back to winning ways."
Racon was relieved to find the back of the net after failing to do so since blasting home a late consolation in the 2-1 defeat at Bristol Rovers in February.
And you’d have to go back a full further year for his last at The Valley, a stunner in the 2-0 Championship victory over Plymouth.
And Therry has every intention of improving his goal-to-game ratio sooner rather than later, stating: "Last season I had a good season but I didn't score goals.
“I'm working on getting in the box more and that's something I want to improve.
"In training I'm good. I need to get more in the box and take my chance and that's what I did on Tuesday.
"I should take more of my chances. I'm working on it and hopefully I can add some more goals to my game.
“Any goal - even a scrappy one - I'll be happy with."
