THE future of Charlton Athletic was secured today when Charlton plc shareholders overwhelmingly backed a management buy-out by plc chairman Richard Murray at a general meeting at The Valley.
Shareholders approved the sale of Charlton Athletic Football Company Limited and Charlton Athletic Holdings Limited to Murray, following an existing agreement between Murray and his fellow directors for Murray to take sole control of the club.
FANS can buy tickets from The Valley in advance of kick-off on the night for Charlton’s Johnstone’s Paint Trophy first-round match against fellow League One side Dagenham & Redbridge on August 31 (7.45pm).
Tickets are priced £10 adults and £5 over 60s and U21s.

ADULTS, over 60 and U21 fans can now purchase 18-match season tickets to watch the Championship-chasing Addicks in 2010/11 at 80 per cent of the original rate.
