CHRISTIAN Dailly and Jose Semedo will both miss Charlton’s League One match against Oldham Athletic at The Valley on Saturday through suspension.

Midfielder Semedo will serve the final match of the three-game ban he incurred after receiving a red card on the opening day of the season against AFC Bournemouth.

Charlton appealed against the suspension but failed to overturn the ban.

Meanwhile, skipper Dailly was sent off against Leyton Orient on Friday night after collecting two yellow cards and will serve a one-ban ban against the Latics.

FANS who purchased a match ticket for Charlton’s opening-day victory against AFC Bournemouth can get the cost refunded if they sign up for a season ticket before 5pm on Friday.

More than 8,770 season tickets have been sold so far, with prices starting at £290 adults, with U18s £75 and U11s just £49.

Fans must present their Bournemouth match ticket at the commercial centre or send it in with a completed application form, which can be downloaded from the official club website.

FELLOW League One side Dagenham & Redbridge will be Charlton’s opponents in the first round of the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy, with the game taking place at The Valley on August 31 (7.45pm).

THE future of Charlton Athletic will become clearer on Monday when a general meeting of Charlton plc takes place at The Valley (11am).

Shareholders will meet to approve the sale of Charlton Athletic Football Company Limited and Charlton Athletic Holdings Limited to plc chairman Richard Murray.

It follows an agreement between Murray and his fellow directors for Murray to take sole control of the club.

SEATS are currently on general sale for the away match against Huddersfield Town on August 28, while places are restricted for Exeter City on September 4 (both 3pm).

Charlton have 900 terrace places and 150 seats for St James’ Park and these went on sale to all season-ticket holders yesterday.

CHARLTON’S U18s and women’s team both start their seasons this weekend.

The senior academy side takes on Blackburn Rovers at Sparrows Lane (11am), while the female Addicks entertain Gillingham at new home stadium Bayliss Avenue (2pm), the ground of Thamesmead Town.

A CAFC XI was also due to face a Tottenham Hotspur reserve side in a private friendly yesterday, with manager Phil Parkinson saying last week that he expected Matt Fry, recently troubled by a calf niggle, and Bally Smart to feature in the match.

EROL Umut was appointed Charlton’s new head physio on Thursday following the departure of Steve Allen to Championship side Portsmouth.

Former academy physio Umut has been with the Addicks for five seasons and has degrees in sports science and physiotherapy.
