ADDICKS manager Phil Parkinson is hoping his side can repeat last season’s victory at Leyton Orient when the two sides clash again tomorrow.

The two sides met very early in the campaign at Brisbane Road last season when Charlton enjoyed a 2-1 victory thanks to goals from Jonjo Shelvey and Deon Burton.

Both of those players have moved on since then but Parky believes his newly-assembled side can match the result.

He said: “It will be similar to last year with a good surface, quick pitch, an evening game and a good atmosphere.

“If our supporters can match the volume of support they gave us last year, then it will really help the team.

“I thought that was one of the highlights of our whole season, certainly on our travels.

“It will be a competitive local derby. We played them twice last year and honours were even.

“We’ve given ourselves three points on the board and we are going into this game looking to win.”

Parkinson confirmed the senior players who were missing from Tuesday’s 4-3 Carling Cup defeat at Shrewsbury are all likely to return.

However, Matt Fry (calf) is still struggling and may miss the game, which is being televised by Sky Sports.
