ADDICKS supporters will not be subjected to the buzzing noise of vuvuzelas next season.
Charlton FC announced the decision following enquires from concerned fans.
Charlton operations director Mick Everett said: “The club has received a large amount of correspondence from fans on the subject of vuvuzelas since the World Cup ended, and the overwhelming majority were firmly against them being allowed into the stadium.
"It's clear they would be a significant annoyance to many supporters, and the club wishes to ensure all fans are allowed to enjoy the game at all times.”
Millwall FC has already decided to ban the instrument from its games.
