CHRISTIAN Dailly has signed a new contract with Charlton which will keep him in SE7 for another season.
Dailly was a free agent after his previous deal expired in the summer but still returned to pre-season training with Charlton last week.
Manager Phil Parkinson was delighted to retain the veteran 36-year-old, who was voted as the club’s player of the year last season.
The Addicks chief said: “It’s great news for the club and we’re very pleased to be able to extend Christian’s contract for the forthcoming season.
“We’re in the middle of making some big changes and it’s important to keep some continuity in the squad, so Christian’s experience will be invaluable.
“His influence on the team, on and off the pitch, was there for everyone to see last season and it’s an important signing for us.”
