THE majority of Charlton fans will pay a reduced rate to watch Premiership football at The Valley next season after the Addicks unveiled lower prices for the 2006/07 campaign on Friday.

Fans aged under-11 will be able to see all 19 home Premiership fixtures for a flat rate of £99 - just over £5 per game - anywhere in the stadium and other supporters will enjoy reductions of up to 50 per cent.

The club has also introduced staggered pricing so seats near the ends of stands are less expensive than those on the halfway line, as well as new under-21, under-18 and under-11 (but not under-16) categories.

One season-ticket holder will also have the opportunity to win a Spanish holiday home worth more than £50,000, and only one set of fans, the centre blocks of the east stand, will pay the same rate as the current season.

Season-ticket renewal forms will be sent out early next month -see the full prices at cafc.co.uk

ALAN Curbishley has admitted his delight at the club's FA Cup semi-final draw against West Ham United at Villa Park, should the Addicks beat Middlesbrough in their quarter-final replay.

The FA announced the last four match will be played in Birmingham on Sunday, April 23 (4pm), with the game being screened by Sky.

Curbishley said: "Ourselves, Middlesbrough and West Ham were obviously hoping to avoid Chelsea and Liverpool, so I think there is a great opportunity for a smaller club to make the final. It's a massive opportunity for us."

A MYLES Weston goal gave Charlton's academy a 1-0 victory against a Valley Express Kent Youth League side last Wednesday night - a game arranged to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the league.

ALAN Curbishley has backed a new adult learning initiative that was launched at The Valley on Sunday.

Adults can now visit Charlton's stadium, home of London Leisure College, to improve their reading and writing skills under a new project called Heading for Success.

Curbishley: "As a Premiership manager it's very important for me to have good communication skills to get my message over to players, management and the media."

Three Charlton players started for their country as England drew 0-0 with France in a World Cup qualification match last Sunday night and the Addicks are back in action at Stonebridge Road on Sunday against Chelsea, kick-off 2pm.

MIDFIELDER Barry Fuller last week extended his loan deal at Barnet to the end of April and started his third month with the Bees with a 1-0 win against Darlington.

The 21-year-old will stay at Underhill until April 22 - the maximum period under league rules.

THREE weeks of Easter holiday fun and football organised by the Charlton community scheme kicked off on Monday but there is still plenty of time to get involved in the feast of football across Greenwich, Bexley and Kent until April 13.

The prices are £44 for a five-day course, £37 for a four-day course and £12 for a one-day course.
