ROLLING BACK THE YEARS: This April the club will re-stage the 1990 FA Cup final between Crystal Palace and Manchester United to raise funds for Geoff Thomas' leukaemia appeal. Fans will be able to join managers Steve Coppell and Sir Alex Ferguson as they lead out the two teams (subject to availability) which took to the Wembley turf more than 15 years ago. As well as the chance to re-live arguably the biggest game in the club's history, supporters are also promised cameo roles from some very special substitutes for both sides. Kick-off at Selhurst Park is scheduled for 7.45pm on Thursday April 6. Advance tickets, priced at £15 for adults and £5 for concessions, are available now from the box office on 08712 000071. Supporters, who can also make donations by visiting geoff-thomas.com, should note ticket prices rise by £5 if they are bought on the day of the game.
YOUNG GUNS PRIMED FOR ACTION: Crystal Palace's under-18s will take on their Watford counterparts at Selhurst Park in the next round of the FA Youth Cup. The date for this clash has been confirmed as Monday January 30, with kick-off scheduled for 7pm. Fans can catch the likes of rising star Lewis Grabban who scored in the previous round against Tranmere Rovers under-18s for £3, while concession seats are also available to under-16s and over-65s for just £1.
LOAN WATCH: Young winger Tyrone Berry played the full 90 minutes Rushden and Diamonds' 2-2 draw with Stockport on Saturday. The result left Rushden 23rd in the Coca-Cola League Two. Midfielder Sam Togwell was also in action for Port Vale, who lost 2-1 at league leaders Colchester. The defeat saw Martin Foyle's men slip to 14th in League One.
