TYRONE'S A DIAMOND: Palace's young winger Tyrone Berry has moved to Rushden and Diamonds on a month's loan. The 18-year-old, who has made three cup appearances for the Eagles this term, appeared as a second-half substitute for his new club in their 2-0 home defeat at the hands of Wrexham on Saturday a result which left Rushden in 23rd place in League Two. Berry was scouted last Wednesday by erstwhile Eagles keeper and current Rushden goalkeeping coach Andy Woodman, who was in the Selhurst Park crowd for Palace reserves' 3-2 defeat to Leicester. Of Berry, who was also on loan at Notts County earlier this season, Rushden manager Barry Hunter said: "Tyrone is a great talent. His pace and ability to play on either wing or up front will be a great asset for us."
