Millwall 2 v 1 Debry County

Brighton 1 v 2 Millwall

Coca-Cola Championship

LIONS caretaker manager Dave Tuttle was all smiles after two impressive victories saw his Lions move off the bottom of the Championship table.

In both matches Tuttle's charges came from behind with second half goals to secure back-to-back wins for only the second time this season.

On the coast at Brighton's Withdean Stadium the hosts took a third-minute lead through Dean Hammond.

But the six-pointer swung in Millwall's favour with two strikes on 45 and 49 minutes.

Ben May got the first and Josh Simpson added the second.

Tuttle said: "We showed great courage in the second half to get a result.

"We didn't come here for a point as we go into every game looking for a win. It's what we need.

"I wouldn't have taken the job if I didn't think we could stay up, and the players showed they are up for the fight."

Derby's visit to the Den was another must-win match for Tuttle's men and they responded in almost identical fashion to the Brighton game.

Having conceded a 55th-minute goal Seth Johnson Millwall hit back two goals in a spell-binding five minute window.

Marvin Elliott equalised on 72 minutes and Marvin Williams completed the comeback five minutes later.

Tuttle said: "This result is down to the players and the fantastic effort of the squad over the last four games.

"We are in this together and we all want to get out of this league position and it's what we intend to do.

"There is a belief we can do it and we have achieved what we set out to do four games ago."
