THE big boys enter the FA Cup this weekend and each of our teams will be facing a very different prospect at 3pm on Saturday.
Most significant is the return of Tim Cahill to the Den when Millwall host Everton in what promises to be a cracking third round tie.
The Australian attacking midfielder was sold for an undisclosed fee in the summer of 2004 after playing more than 200 games for the Lions and scoring the winning goal in the FA Cup semi-final in 2004.
Everton are struggling in the Premiership and, at the time of going to press, have conceded 11 goals in their last three matches and are just three points above the drop zone.
The tie is set up nicely as when Millwall last hosted a Premiership club they came within a penalty shoot-out of beating Birmingham City and Everton are only four points higher than their Midlands rivals there could be a shock on the cards here.
Charlton were knocked out of the cup last year at the fifth round stage by Championship side Leicester City making their trip to Sheffield Wednesday this time round a potnetial banana skin.
Wednesday are struggling to stay in the Championship and have not won since the beginning of November but with Alan Curbishley's men in free-fall the bookies will not be offering heavy odds for either team.
On paper Crystal Palace have the easiest of draws by welcoming League Two side Northampton Town to Selhurst Park.
However, the Cobblers are unbeaten since October and currently sit in the play-off zone although Iain Dowie will take heart after the visitors needed a replay to overcome Nationwide Conference side Stevenage Borough in the last round.
