VETERAN midfielder Don Hutchison has signed for Coventry after the 34-year-old left Millwall for first-team football. Coventry manager Micky Adams said: "With the amount of injuries we have at the moment it was evident we needed cover in midfield. Don is a vastly experienced player who has plied his trade at the highest level and will be a welcome addition. He is famed for his determined style of play and I'm sure he'll be a positive asset for us." On leaving Millwall, ex-Scotland and Liverpool player Hutchison said: "I have left by mutual consent after agreeing to cancel my contract. I have left because of a lack of first-team football. At my age I need to be playing regularly." He added: "I am actively looking to join a club with ambition and there are one or two in the pipeline."
