CRYSTAL Palace's outspoken chairman Simon Jordan is adamant Andy Johnson will not leave the club despite the star striker's decision to hand in a transfer request.

Johnson's request made because he fears for his international future has alerted a host of Premiership clubs, but Jordan has insisted his most saleable asset is going nowhere.

But one player definitely departing Selhurst Park is defender Darren Powell, who has not been offered a contract extension and is expected to join Championship rivals Reading.
