"AS SOON as I met boss Alan Curbishley and chairman Richard Murray I had no doubt whatsoever this was the club I wanted to join.
"I have been impressed by their plans for the club on and off the field. I am convinced Charlton can go from strength to strength, and I very much want to be part of the process.
"It was a difficult decision to leave Ipswich after seven years with the club but joining Charlton was an opportunity I just couldn't turn down.
"When Charlton's offer was rejected by Ipswich last year you tend to forget about it, because you have a job to do. But when they made their interest clear once again, I was very keen to come."
