LADY LUCK: Two of Charlton's ladies helped England get their European Championship campaign off to a winning start on Sunday with a 3-2 victory over Finland.
Katie Chapman started the game as the home country eased into a 2-0 half-time lead, but the Finns equalised with just minutes remaining. By that time Eniola Aluko had been introduced and had spurned two chances to seal the win.
Another effort from the 18-year-old was saved with a minute of injury-time remaining, but this time Karen Carney followed up with the rebound.
England take on Denmark at Ewood Park tonight, followed by their game against Sweden on Saturday.
SCOTTY NO GO: The club has ruled out a permanent move for Scott Parker, but chairman Richard Murray opened the door to a possible loan deal.
Parker made just seven starts for Chelsea last season, mainly due to injury. Murray said: "We were sorry to let Scott go, but one of the reasons for him leaving was that he was going to be paid much higher wages. If we couldn't afford to keep him and match those wages, it would be difficult to match them now and pay a transfer fee. If he was to return it would have to be on a loan basis."
SWAP SHOP: Season ticket holders who wish to change the location of their seat can do just that later this month when the week-long swap period begins next Saturday.
Fans will get the chance to exchange their seat for one in a different area by attending the ticket office in person, from 9.30am-2pm on the Saturday and from 8am-6pm on the following Monday to Friday, June 24.
Fans can still apply for season tickets via cafc.co.uk or 0800 587 1100, and seats will be issued to new applicants from Monday, June 27.
PEACOCK POPS IN: Keith Peacock kicked off Charlton's centenary celebrations yesterday by signing copies of his autobiography at the Addicks centenary exhibition at Hall Place, Bexley.
