JASON Price is expected to extend his loan spell with Oldham until the season, according to Millwall manager Kenny Jackett.
The striker has been a periphery figure at The Den this season, making only five starts before linking up with the Latics in a 28-day deal last month.
Jackett confirmed: “I don’t know whether the paper work has gone through but I spoke to the Oldham manager and in principle he has agreed to stay there until the end of the season.
“We obviously changed things around a little bit by bringing in Shaun Batt and Jon Obika, so when Jason went it was co-ordinated with those two coming in.
“I don't think we are going to go any further than that in terms of bringing people in unless there are injuries or a big loss of form.
“Jason was not getting as much football as a senior player should and Oldham was his preferred choice.”
