DESPITE being doubtful for the away match against Walsall on February 2, goalkeeper Rob Elliot recovered from his back problem to play in the 1-1 draw at the Banks’ Stadium.

However, the Addicks number one suffered a hand injury at Swindon Town on Saturday, although the injury was not thought to be serious.

Meanwhile, defender Kelly Youga has been told to rest for a further two weeks before his knee injury is again assessed.

The left-back initially suffered the problem in late November.

FEBRUARY 18 is lining up to be a big day at The Valley.

First, strikers Deon Burton and Chris Dickson are set to tackle questions from Young Addicks when they appear at the latest junior supporters’ event at 2.30pm.

Free tickets admit one member and one adult, and are available on 0871 226 1906 or by visiting the commercial centre.

Then, Christian Dailly, Kyel Reid, Lloyd Sam and Carl Jenkinson will be in the Valley Superstore to meet fans and sign merchandise from 4pm to 5.30pm.

SEASON-ticket forms for 2010/11 and five-year season-ticket application packs will shortly be landing on fans’ doormats.

The forms are due to be sent out in mid-February.

Charlton announced last month the club’s season-ticket prices for 2010/11 are being frozen until March 31, regardless of whether the team wins promotion back to the Championship later this year.

If promotion is secured, adult and senior/U21 prices will then rise to at least the 2008/09 Championship rates.

TICKETS are currently on general sale for the home matches against Yeovil Town on February 20 (3pm) and Brighton & Hove Albion on February 23 (7.45pm).

Seats are priced £17, £22 and £25 adults, £17 over 60s and U21s, and £5 U18s and are available from the Valley commercial centre, via cafc.co.uk or on 0871 226 1905.

TOSAN Popo gave Charlton U18s the lead against Ipswich Town as the Addicks played their first match for 54 days on Saturday, but the Tractor Boys equalised to ensure a 1-1 draw.

The U18s take on Chelsea on Friday at Sparrows Lane (1.30pm) and travel to Portsmouth next Wednesday (12pm).

TICKETS for Charlton’s next two away games against Bristol Rovers (live on Sky on Monday) and Southend United (February 26 – both 7.45pm) are currently on sale.

Shrimpers seats have been made available to all season-ticket holders and Valley Gold members (two apiece) and fans who have bought tickets to at least two away matches this term (up to the maximum number of tickets purchased for away games).

More details are available from the Valley commercial centre or on 0871 226 1905.

AFTER having last weekend’s match against Queens Park Rangers postponed due to county cup fixtures, the Charlton women’s team could again be inactive on Sunday.

The Addicks’ scheduled match against Brighton & Hove Albion has already been cancelled for the same reason, but another league fixture could be arranged in its place.

FANS wishing to watch the Addicks from the comfort of a Valley executive box only have four more matches from which to choose – the games against Yeovil Town, Brighton & Hove Albion, Carlisle United and Colchester United.

The boxes seat 10 people and the packages include car parking, a champagne reception and food and drink.
