KENNY Jackett admits bringing back James Henry on loan from Reading is not a major priority.
The winger has impressed during his previous stays at The Den, the last of which ended just before Christmas as the player returned to the Royals with an injury.
Henry has recovered from the problem and although Jackett didn’t completely rule out making a move to get him back, he also pointed out Chris Hackett’s outstanding form this season made it unlikely.
The Millwall boss said: “It has taken James Henry a little while to get fit, but he is back and available now and currently playing and competing at Reading as far as I know.
“I haven’t spoken to Reading at all about James but part of my job is knowing who is where and what they are doing.
“He isn’t a player I’ve enquired about since he went back because obviously he had a lot of injury problems with us and he needs to make sure he has a good run to get over them.
“I wouldn’t say it is the end of our interest because James Henry is a good player and has done well for us.”
Jackett added: “The other side of it is I’ve been really pleased with Chris Hackett, who has had an excellent season and been a key player.
“Would I like two good players in every position?
“Yes I would as a manager because everybody is not available all of the time.
“It is about making sure you use your budget to impact your squad and cover all bases.
“There’s a real good wide right player doing well for us at the moment in Chris Hackett and I’ve got to say there are other positions which need strengthening before that one because Danny Schofield can play on both sides.”
