MILLWALL have clarified an earlier story on their website by saying "some senior players" will now take part in tomorrow evening's friendly at Welling United.
Reports elsewhere initially suggested a full-strength Lions team would be on show but Millwall this morning said the match would primarily be an exercise for their youngsters.
However, Wings owner Barrie Hobbins contacted the League One side and the sitaution has finally been resolved after the Lions told him there will definitely be first team squad players in action.
He told News Shopper: "I spoke to Millwall because I heard what was on their website but they told me that story has been changed, which I'm pleased about.
"The most important thing is that Millwall will be sending a side here with first team players."
Tomorrow night's game will kick-off at 7.45pm and admission prices are £10 for adults and £6 for pensioners and under-16s.
