KENNY Jackett has admitted he is worried about Millwall’s defensive frailties ahead of Saturday week’s visit to Southampton.
The Lions enjoyed a 4-1 pre-season victory at Dartford last night, but the Lions manager confessed afterwards he was concerned after Andy Frampton and Tony Craig joined Paul Robinson and Zak Whitbread in the treatment room.
He said: “Andy injured his ankle in the warm-up today and Tony was also hurt in training yesterday morning.
“It’s funny how it’s only in that position, not in those where we have enough players.
“Zak’s still feeling his thigh so the start of the season looks out for him.
“But put Robinson, Whitbread, Frampton and Craig onto the group out there today and I think we’re in business.”
