CHARLTON Athletic's Former Players Association are set to visit Oakwood on August 9 to take on a VCD Allstars side which will include some former professional stars.
The game marks the final week of preparation for newly promoted double-winners VCD Athletic as they embark on their first venture in the Ryman Division One North.
Charlton's side will include the following former Addicks favourites: Paul Walsh, Colin Walsh, Paul Williams, Steve Gritt, John Humphrey, Peter Garland, Richard Wilson, Leroy Ambrose, Tony Booth, Paul Linger, Andy Jones, Michael Paye and Paul Gorman.
Addicks and Vickers fans are invited to come down to see these stars of yesteryear take on a VCD Allstars side which includes former professionals Wayne Burnett and Anthony Barness.
These two former pros will be appearing alongside former Vickers favourites such as Pike, Whitehouse, Barry, Alchorn, Frost, Coatham, Foley, Bowey, Bennett, Groom, Norris and many more.
Visitors are invited to watch what should be an entertaining match and sample the friendly Oakwood hospitality. The game kicks-off at 1pm.
