ANGRY fans demonstrated in the rain outside the Valley after a dismal home defeat by Barnsley.
A brace by Tykes forward Jon Macken inside twenty minutes set the tone for a miserable afternoon for Charlton who are now third from bottom of the Championship.
Macken’s first came after just three minutes and his second came just after the quarter of an hour mark.
Defender Darren Moore scored again for the Yorkshire side on 39 minutes to give the visitors a 3-0 advantage at the interval.
Mark Hudson grabbed a consolation goal on 75 minutes, but it wasn’t to placate the angry home fans.
After the final whistle crowds gathered outside the players entrance chanting: “We want Pardew out” and “we want our Charlton back”.
