Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner has revealed that Cheick Doucoure could return ahead of their trip to Nottingham Forest later this month.
In September’s 2-2 draw with Leicester, Doucoure made his first start after suffering an Achilles injury last year. Albeit his return lasted just 45 minutes being dealt a fresh setback.
Following tendon damage to his toe, Glasner indicated that the midfielder could make a return to training during the international break.

“Let’s see what happens during the international break. Cheick Doucoure could join training in the second week of the international break. Nobody else is close to coming back.”
Chadi Riad and Chris Richards remain long-term absentees, while Matheus Franca is the latest addition to the injury list.
Crystal Palace face Liverpool on Saturday before the international break.
