Crystal Palace captain Marc Guehi is set to remain at Selhurst Park beyond Friday's transfer deadline, Oliver Glasner confirmed.
The centre-back has been subject to numerous bids from Newcastle United, which have faced constant rebuttals from Crystal Palace co-owner Steve Parish.
Our Paper understands that Crystal Palace had put a £75 million valuation upon Guehi's head when Newcastle first made an approach. However, the Magpies did not come close to Crystal Palace's asking price.
Marc Guehi has two years remaining on his contract with the South London club and turned down an initial offer to extend his stay at the end of last season.

- Oliver Glasner: "No new players will be available" for Sunday's trip to Chelsea
Oliver Glasner said: "I can confirm Marc Guehi will remain a Crystal Palace player, but it was never was really in doubt. Congrats to Crystal Palace, to the chairman, to the owners, to everyone that didn't give in - it was very important Marc stayed, especially after the transfer of Joachim Andersen.
"Thank you to Marc. We were very, very close and talking a lot. All the rumors didn't influence his performance, mood or professionality.
"He was always told he's that he's not pushing to leave Crystal Palace, that's always for me the most important thing, that the players tell me that they like to play for the team here.
"Marc told me this very often. Sometimes people say things and act the opposite way, but Marc really showed his fantastic character again.
"Marc remaining at the club is not really new news for me."
