Crystal Palace loanee Danny Imray shone in Bromley's 2-0 South London derby victory over AFC Wimbledon.

The 21-year-old was integral to the Ravens' second goal - he charged down the right flank and danced through the Wimbledon defence, before driving a tempting ball across the Dons box, which Corey Whitely was on hand to finish.

Throughout the afternoon, the wing-back proved to be a nuisance. He was defensively sound, but most importantly, his attacking energy was unmatched, and James Furlong could not handle him.

Saturday's victory was Imray's first start in the EFL, after making his inaugural appearance from the bench in last weekend's 2-0 victory over Harrogate.

Bromley boss Andy Woodman was full of praise for the Eagles youngster, sharing: “Danny was very good today. He is a good player, we know that -we can thank Crystal Palace for loaning him to us.

"Hopefully, Crystal Palace and other clubs will start looking at what we do here at Bromley and realise that we utilise their players and hopefully progress their careers – that’s what we’ve done really well here as a football club.

“It’s probably gone unnoticed in other places, but certainly, we’ve had a lot of good loans here that gone on and kicked on for us.

“People are now sitting up, realising that Bromley is not a little non-league club, and we’ve had some good players here.

“We have had a fair share of good players come on loan to us and kicked on, so I’m hoping people realise that I’ve not got a lot of bad track record with young players, and I think working at Arsenal immensely helped me with that.”
