MILLWALL defender McNamara has been rumoured with a transfer to Championship rivals Queens Park Rangers.
The 23-year-old is entering the last year of his deal at The Den and would be free to leave the club for nothing next summer if a new contract extension is not agreed.
This situation had alerted West London side QPR, who are reportedly interested in signing the defender if he does not extend terms with Millwall, according to West London Sport.
Gary Rowett will be desperate to keep McNamara as he is the only out-and-out right wing-back after the departure of Mahlon Romeo to Championship rivals Cardiff City.
Midfielder Ryan Leonard has been able to provide cover for McNamara at times, but that is not an ideal situation.
